In late 2014, Canadian HR Reporter—in partnership with WorkForce Software—polled its readers to find out how employers are handling vacation, time off, leaves of absences and other reasons for why workers aren’t in the office.

We got a fantastic response—nearly 400 professionals from across the country took part in the online survey, giving us insights into how much vacation time employers are offering employees and how long it takes to earn it; the different type of leaves offered; and the use of technology to manage leaves—plus so much more.
