A Return to Form at VISION 2022: The Experience Conference
VISION 2022 was a grand return for the modern workforce management event. Taking place at the award-winning Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California on April 5th and 6th, it was our first in-person customer gathering after two years of virtual conferences due to the global pandemic.
It was great to see everybody again and to show off what WorkForce Software has been working on with like-minded professionals in an interactive and inspiring event addressing the most pressing workforce management challenges.
In case you missed it, here are some highlights worth checking out:

Keynote Speaker

Jacob Morgan
The Experiential Organization: Creating a Company Where Employees Want,
Not Need to Show up to Work
Investment in employee engagement has never been higher, yet scores have never been lower. How can that be the case?
For decades we have been investing in short-term “adrenaline shot” programs such as free food or work-from-home Fridays without impacting employees or the organization. Instead of forcing people into outdated workplace practices, the world’s top companies are redesigning work around their people by focusing on three environments: culture, technology, and the physical workspace. Based on Jacob’s ongoing research of 252 organizations, he will share why employee experience is the next big area of investment, what the top companies are doing, and how you can create an Experiential Organization. The future of work is all about the employee experience.
After graduating with honors in business management economics and psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz, Jacob Morgan was excited to join the corporate world.
At his first job, he was told that he’d be traveling the country, meeting with executives and entrepreneurs, and doing all sorts of exciting work. A few months in, he was stuck doing data entry, cold calling, and PowerPoint presentations. One day the CEO came out of his nice corner office, handed Jacob a $10 bill and said, “I’m late for a meeting, go grab me a cup of coffee, and get something for yourself as well.” That was the last corporate job he ever had.
Today, Jacob Morgan is a trained futurist and one of the world’s leading authorities on leadership, the future of work, and the employee experience. He speaks in front of tens of thousands of people each year, and his content is seen over a million times a year. Jacob is the best-selling author of four books: The Future Leader (Wiley 2020), The Employee Experience Advantage (Wiley, 2017), The Future of Work (Wiley, 2014), and The Collaborative Organization (McGraw Hill, 2012). He speaks at over 50 conferences a year, including TED Academy, which is one of the largest TED events in the world. In addition, Morgan provides advisory and thought-leadership services to various organizations around the world.
