The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put added pressure on global supply chains. As a result, many countries are reconsidering their manufacturing strategy and shifting production.  

The Australian government recently announced a $1.5 billion initiative called the Modern Manufacturing Strategy that will “create jobs and build long-lasting economic resilience beyond the COVID-19 recovery” over the next four years. 

But to truly create long-term organizational resilience and foster greater agility, employers can’t neglect the employee experience.

To truly succeed, they must include solutions that work for the entire workforce—especially those who don’t perform their work from behind a desk.
