Having unified core HR functions in Employee Central, the company sought to simplify related processes for employees across its 160+ locations, while retaining Employee Central as its HR technology hub. Time and attendance management was another chief concern because of the volume of interactions—many workers clock in and out daily—and the importance of making time off requests easier for all employees. Renée Lewis is the senior HRIS Specialist for Western Financial Group, Canada’s largest Canadian owned insurance broker with over 160 locations in western Canada. From the head office in High River, Alberta, she is a key member of the implementation project team and is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of all integrated Human Resource systems at Western. This includes creating a positive user experience, preserving system functionality, ensuring data integrity, compiling reports and coordinating with the SuccessFactors Support Team.
