Welcome to The Workforce Chronicle!
This month's issue of The Workforce Chronicle looks at the way technology is changing the payroll industry. We'll also learn how workforce management software helped to increase employee productivity at Vectren Corporation.
How Technology has Affected the Payroll Industry
Technology has become indispensable in both life and business, and the evolution of the payroll industry is no exception. | EmpCenter Accruals & Absence Manager |
Managing absences and accruals is critical to your bottom line. When absences are not accurately recorded or leave time is improperly accrued, your organization can accumulate major liabilities that may not reflect on the balance sheet. To maintain a productive workforce, you must be able to control the tracking of unexcused absences, tardiness, and other attendance disruptions.
EmpCenter™ Accruals and Absence Manager is an important part of our comprehensive time and attendance solution. It offers accruals and leave capabilities for any type of time-off, such as vacation, sick, optional or floating holidays, paid time-off (PTO), and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
