The WebClock Biometic Scanner turns any Windows-based PC into a fingerprint-secured time clock. The Biometric Scanner prevents unauthorized people from being able to punch-in or punch-out for an employee, so “Buddy Punching” is eliminated and all unauthorized attempts are recorded for auditing purposes.

Enforces Data Security and Employee Privacy

The Biometric Scanner does not actually use a fingerprint to identify the employee, so employee privacy is not an issue. Rather a number of attributes or fingerprint characteristics are measured and compared against those same characteristics measured during an employee’s enrollment to the system. This means that the employee information cannot be used outside of this system to identify the employee.
The Biometric Scanner solution also uses RSA public key encryption to send biometric data from the browser to the EmpCenter system, so the information is secure every step of the way.

Administrators can easily enroll employees into the system from any PC used to gather employee time information. Once the employee is enrolled into the system, the employee is authorized to use the Biometric Scanner at any location within the organization.
