No timekeeping system can operate in isolation. WorkForce Software has developed interfaces and templates to exchange data with the most common HR and payroll systems. The diagram below highlights the key data flows with the WorkForce Software system and 3rd party applications.

Interface Methodology

WorkForce Software employs advanced synchronization and scripting features to enable interfaces to/from any 3rd party system. Here are some key facts:

• Data can be loaded from any ASCII file, XML source, or SQL enabled database.
• Data can be exported into any ASCII file format, XML document, or directly to another database in a user defined format.
• All interfaces can be scheduled to run automatically as a background job.
• For inbound interfaces such as those to load employees or projects, the system can start with either the entire data set or just the items that changed from the prior execution of the interface.
