EmpCenter® Activity Based Costing

EmpCenter uses Activity Based Costing to track the largest controllable expense—your employees—and give you better business information for making smart decisions and managing labor costs. Activity Based Costing tracks time worked against activities such as projects, tasks, and work orders, to determine the time and costs associated with different parts of the organization.

All time accounting is tailored to your requirements, and the system supports an unlimited number of levels of Activity Based Costing. The system also supports defaults and restrictions to limit the levels available to various groups of employees. Hierarchical relationships between levels can be established so that a selection at one level presents specific choices at the next.

Employees can change projects or tasks as often as necessary in each shift or pay period. Different groups of employees can have different cost levels defined upon installation and then modified throughout the life of the system.
