Choksi to share proprietary research and best practice approach to employee fatigue and absence management

Livonia, Michigan – April 4, 2011 – WorkForce Software, the leading provider of workforce management solutions for organizations with complex labor policies and stringent compliance demands, will share nuclear industry cases studies, recent findings, and practical guidance for HR on employee fatigue and absence management.

Kevin Choksi, WorkForce Software’s co-founder, President, and CEO, will lead “Stay Compliant With Fatigue and Absence Management” on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, from 1:00-2:15 PM ET. Mr. Choksi’s session is part of the “Strategic View” learning track at the 2011 HR Technology in the Federal Workplace Conference, taking place April 4-6 at the Marriott Wardman Park, Washington, DC.

Session attendees will learn about the events and considerations that led the Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC) to develop new fatigue regulations in 2008, and the solution that WorkForce Software configured to manage these new regulations, delivering:

  • proactive notifications to managers, supervisors and employees before a scheduling violation occurs
  • automated tracking and management of complex rules, schedules, assessments and waivers
  • complete audit trails that illustrate proof of compliance

Parallels with other industries currently confronting employee fatigue will be drawn, as Mr. Choksi highlights recent headlines that indicate symptoms of fatigue and shares new findings on the widening impact of fatigue in today’s “do more with less” economy.

Mr. Choksi will also highlight best practices in absence management, detailing how new solutions can help ensure compliance in the face of ever-increasing regulatory complexity, new demands on HR teams, and continued growth in leave requests.
