WorkForce Software to Present at the
2005 IOMA Payroll Conference
LIVONIA, Mich., Oct. 1 , 2005 – WorkForce
Software today announced that it will present “Time & Labor
Compliance Issues & Best Practices” in an educational
session at the 2005 IOMA Payroll Conference in Arlington , Virginia
on October 28. The presentation will be led by
Mr. Robert Dunn, Account Manager, for WorkForce Software at 1:00
pm . Mr. Dunn’s presentation is based on his 12 years of
experience in implementing time and labor solutions along with
the collective experiences of WorkForce Software’s team of
industry experts.
The best practices in employee time and attendance were developed
by WorkForce Software based on many years of experience in implementing
workforce management solutions. The WorkForce Best Practices are
designed to simultaneously improve the efficiency of an organization’s
time and labor processes while instituting the controls needed
to ensure compliance with labor regulations. In addition to the
tremendous cost savings that can be realized, customers also can
minimize and eliminate any potential legal exposures related to
the Fair Labor Standard Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and
other labor regulations. Public companies further benefit by instituting
appropriate controls and procedures around time and labor, the
single biggest controllable cost item for most firms and a key
area auditor’s review for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Attendees will learn about four key issues surrounding labor and
regulator compliance that an effective employee time and attendance
solution can solve. By learning some of these “Best Practices” of
employee time and labor, attendees will leave with the ability
to benchmark their organization’s processes vs. world-class
organizations. Dunn will show how one company increased efficiency
in their business processes and received an immediate return on
investment through the automation of time and labor and simultaneously
eliminated various problems in their compliance with labor regulations.
The 2005 IOMA Payroll Conference will take place on October 27-28,
2005, providing members a new conference focused on payroll related
issues and topics. Attendees learn about labor law compliance,
Sarbanes Oxley, and other sensitive concerns that payroll professionals
have. Visit the vendor hall to see the latest in technology and
services. WorkForce Software will be providing a presentation during
the conference and will be available to attendees for questions
in the exhibit hall throughout the conference. Stop by the booth
to pick up various white papers on time and attendance topics.
