WorkForce to "Spark" Cost Savings at
the City of Sparks, Nevada
LIVONIA, Mich., September 13, 2005 – WorkForce
Software completed agreements today with the City of Sparks, Nevada
to deploy the WorkForce Software Solution for the Public Sector
to all city employees.
WorkForce will be replacing the city’s manual timekeeping
process that required three (3) people in payroll to carry out
all of the timecard calculations and application of the city's
HR and payroll policies. The ROI analysis completed with the City
of Sparks showed dramatic cost savings opportunities with the deployment
of the new Workforces Software Solution for Public Sector.
The City of Sparks, in addition to seeking substantial cost savings,
was focused on finding a system that could handle their complex
requirements today while offering substantial flexibility to adapt
new pay policies as they evolved. The Workforce Software solution
will dramatically streamline the manual processes in the City’s
