Job Opening for Web Developer

Positions are available at either our headquarters in Livonia, MI or a development center in Lake Tahoe, NV. For talented and experienced candidates, we will also consider the possibility of telecommuting.

Job Functions:

• A significant amount of web-based design work
• Hands on development, testing, and deploying of the software

Mandatory Skills:

• Several years of overall experience in developing web-based applications
• Knowledge of multi-tiered systems using ASP, JSP, and/or PHP
• Experience creating your own JavaScript within web-pages
• Strong experience with HTML/DHTML and the Document Object Model (DOM)
• Demonstrated ability to write sound and readable programs and build reusable and understandable web-pages.
• Experience with browser and platform independent designs (e.g. Linux, MacOS, Windows, Safari, Mozilla, Netscape, and IE)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Desired Skills:

• Advanced creative design to create visually appealing web-pages
• Adobe Photoshop or other graphics programs
• Knowledge of Tomcat or other Java application servers
• Background with Java programming
• Knowledge of Struts and/or Velocity Apache projects
• Experience in both Windows and Unix environments deploying Java based systems
