Job Opening for Software Trainer

Job Functions:

• Train clients and employees on application use and/or configuration
• Perform role of Subject Matter Expert for internal employees and customers
• Create detailed training materials for client and internal use
• Analyze client functional requirements
• Handle support calls from existing clients, troubleshoot application issues
• May require travel (25-50%)

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong SQL skills
• Comfortable presenting to and instructing large groups
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with all types of clients
• Familiarity with business applications, such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Must work well as a team member and individually
• Strong programming experience utilizing any 4GL language and/or stored procedures
• Comfortable working with database servers and Unix operating systems

Desired Skills:

• Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
• Experience implementing or working with packaged HRMS software systems, i.e. PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Knowledge of HR & Payroll policies, procedures and systems, i.e. ADP, Ceridian, Pro Business, etc.
• Familiarity with at least one report writer such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, Actuate, etc.
