Job Opening for Configuration Specialist

We are looking to add multiple Configuration Specialists to work with our implementation team to configure our packaged software system and support customers in production.

Job Functions:

• Application configuration of our Time and Attendance System
• Train clients in application use and/or configuration
• Assist clients in application testing and rollout
• Handle support calls from existing clients, troubleshoot application issues
• Design reports using Actuate report writing tool
• Convert legacy data for use with our database
• Testing/Quality Assurance work
• Position may require occasional travel

Mandatory Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with all types of clients over the phone
• Must work well as a team member and individually
• Strong SQL skills
• Some programming experience utilizing any 4GL language and/or stored procedures

Desired Skills:

• Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
• Experience implementing or working with packaged HRMS software systems, i.e. PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Knowledge of HR & Payroll policies, procedures and systems, i.e. ADP, Ceridian, Pro Business, etc.
• Familiarity with at least one report writer such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, Actuate, etc.
• Comfortable working with database servers and Unix operating systems
